 One Day Warm Up Novice Teams Each player must have less than 100MPs as at 30/9/2018. Start 10am. Please feel free to enter as a pair and we will find you friendly team mates for this Warm Up event. Entry fee $200 per team. 6 Round Swiss Teams. Category prizes for Novice (<100MPs), Rising Stars (< 50MPs) and Super Novice (<20MPs). Grand Slam Members with a rating of 54%+ are ineligible to enter and those with ratings of under 54% will be deemed eligible for the Novice category only.

Each player must not have achieved the rank of Life Master as at 30/9/2018. Under 300 and Under 100 categories. Grand Slam Members with a rating of 56% or higher are ineligible to enter. Grand Slam players with a rating between 50% and 55% will be deemed eligible for the Under 300 category only.

All players must have fewer than 100MPs as at 30/09/2018. Category prizes for Novice (<100MPs), Rising Stars (< 50MPs) and Super Novice (<20MPs). Grand Slam Members with a rating of 54%+ are ineligible to enter and those with ratings of between 50% and 53% will be deemed eligible for the Novice category only.

14-17 January 		South-West Pacific Open Teams Championship 12 x 20-Board matches. - Entry Fee $920 per team. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 10.00am, 1.30pm, 4.30pm, Thursday 9.30am, 1.00pm, 4.00pm (no evening sessions). Finish 6.30pm Thursday. The leading 8 teams at the end of play on Thursday qualify for the National Open Teams event starting at 10.00am on Friday 18 January. Multiple Category prizes and trophies.

  		Canberra Rex Under 750/300 MP Teams Championship 9 x 20-Board matches. - Entry Fee $650 per team. Session Times: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 10.00am, 1.30pm, 4.30pm. Finish 6.45pm Wednesday. The leading 2 Under 750 MP teams and 2 Under 300 MP teams at the end of play on Wednesday qualify for a 32 board Final starting at 10.00am on Thursday. Grand Slam Members with a rating of 59% or higher are ineligible to enter. Grand Slam players with a rating between 54% and 59% will be deemed eligible for the Under 750 category only.

 NEURA Swiss Pairs Start 10am Thursday. Finish 4.30 pm Friday. Butler Swiss pairs. Entry fee $250 per pair. $50 from each entry fee will be donated to NEURA Research. Category prizes for under 100MPs and U300MPs. Grand Slam Ranking eligibility requirements will apply to category prizes.

18-20 January 		National Open Teams Championship (8 pre-qualified teams from SWPT only) Entry Fee $120 per team per stage. Eight teams will have qualified for the NOT starting Friday morning 10.00am Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Meeting for Captains to exercise choice after correction/appeal period expiry - approximately 7.30pm on Thursday 17 January in the Grand Ballroom, Canberra Rex Hotel.

18 January 		Nearly Time to Pack Up and Go Home Pairs Start 10am 2 Session IMP Pairs $100 per pair. Finish 4.30 pm Category prizes: Open, U300MPs and U100MPs. Grand Slam Ranking eligibility requirements will apply to category prizes.
