The Tournament Schedule

THE PARTICIPANTS IN EACH SECTION OF THE 44TH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

The schedule of play is as follows:

Being a world championship, this will be a difficult test for our teams but they are well prepared and willing to try their best.

Any of our teams that reach the quarter finals (finishing in the top 8) starting on Monday 23rd September will have performed exceptionally. As a matter of fact, finishing in the top 12 would be a good target and would be a commendable achievement.

Each of the 4 sections has 24 teams. Therefore 23 matches.

Those that do not qualify for the quarter finals can play in the Transnational event which is open to anybody (not just the contestants in the four main events) and a team may comprise players from multiple countries.
