The semi final results

In the Open (Men's) category

China beat China Training easily as expected 141 - 45

China Hong Kong beat India B in a very well played match 74 - 54

In the Women's category

China beat Australia 121 - 71 where China picked up 33 imps in the last set (it was fairly close until then). It is probably fair to say that the Chinese women were more aggressive in the right situations and showed their international experience. It was no disgrace for the girls to lose to such a quality side.

China Taipei crushed India B 156 - 39

In the Mixed category

Australia were always fairly comfortable against Thailand winning 102 - 73

China Taipei A beat India A 113 - 103 in a match that was close all the way

In the Senior category

China Taipei A beat China Hong Kong 139 - 64

India B beat China 110 - 67 with a huge last set to overturn a small deficit at the end of the second set. This result would please the locals as China would have started favourite in this match.

So tomorrow, the winners of each semi final play in the final and the losers playoff for third and fourth.

Australia have one team in the final and another in the playoff.
