The Victor Champion Cup was held in Melbourne on June 10-12 with a very strong performance by Kylie Robb and Tony Nunn in the Gill team. They finished equal third having lost to the winners, Chadwick, on Table 1 in the final round. One of the Matthews teams featured four Juniors, Luke Matthews, Arian Lasocki, David Wiltshire and Josh Wyner who met some strong teams and finished downfield at 45. Leigh Gold (Ebery), Kevin Hughes (Sarten) and Jillian Hay (Lovelock) also played, finishing in 16th, 35th and 43rd places respectively.
