As mentioned in the previous bulletin, there was a Pro-am tournament enabling many of the sponsors to play with and against the Juniors on Sunday 24th March.
The Australian Team of Matt Smith playing with Jamie Thompson and John McMahon playing with Nico Ranson played as a unit and finished third.
It was 6 rounds of 4 boards scored as a Patton. Ie 50% imps to Victory Points and 50% Board a Match. Board a Match is generally considered the most taxing form of scoring as each board and each trick can be so decisive.
Well done.
This could act as a confidence builder for the main event starting on Monday morning Amsterdam time.
