Spring Nationals Open Teams

This year saw a record field of 53 teams contest the Open Teams.  After 9 rounds of Swiss, the combatants for the two semi-finals were determined.

(NUNN) Tony Nunn, Sartaj Hans, Michael Ware, Tom Jacob and Nick Jacob

played

(BRAUN) Daniel Braun, Jamie Thompson, Nabil Edgtton and Steven Williams

(HORWITZ) Helen Horwitz, Peter Gill, David Beauchamp, Justin Howard, Peter Hollands

played

(NEILL) Bruce Neill, Arjuna De Levira, Simon Hinge, Richard Jedrochowski

 

After the 56 board semi-finals the results were:

NUNN 204 d BRAUN 57

and

HORWITZ 177 d NEILL 131

The final therefore saw NUNN v HORWITZ

The result after 56 boards was NUNN 147 d HORWITZ 110

Datum Winners
