Seven Bridges then to the Spring Nationals Bridge

After the Seven Bridges Walk, the Spring Nationals became the Eighth Bridge 

I was fortunate not to be here on Tuesday for the set-up of the tables in the Galaxies rooms but, never fear, my UP24 bands recorded over 11 kilometres were traversed yesterday, Wednesday, being the first day of the Open & Restricted Teams.

For your interest, several of your fellow bridge players playing here today, namely Sally Clarke, Sharon Mayo & Frank Budai completed the 27 Kms “Seven Bridges Walk” last Sunday. I started but could only managed 17 Kms (from Milsons Points to Hunter Hill). This was the sign that we followed, for several hours:- 

In total we had 16 bridge players in our team (Walk & Play Bridge) and most finished the gruelling walk, raising funds for Cancer Council NSW. BBO became our bridge table and several hands were played. Players also used the “facilities” at Hunters Hill and Kirribilli Hotels. Interested in joining next year, let me know as I need to complete that selection I missed this year.
