Bridge For Brain Research Challenge - 2008 Results

On behalf of the Prince of Wales Medical Research Institute I would like to thank all of the very generous and loyal bridge players throughout Australia who supported the Bridge for Brain Research Challenge in 2008.

With the strong support of the Australian Bridge Federation (ABF) we had 93 clubs participate this year with over 2,340 bridge players involved nationally.

With so many scores, the ABF did a fantastic job collating all the scores to determine an overall winner from 93 clubs. This year I would especially like to thank John Delaney, Martin Willcox and Jane Rasmussen who have donated a lot of their personal time and energy to get these results to us.

The event this year has raised over $25,000 for Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Dementia Research at the Institute. This is a wonderful result, which each Club should be extremely proud of.
