ABF PRESS RELEASE

Subject: Seniors Competition, 2000 Bermuda Bowl/Venice Cup
The ABF has just received advice that the WBF would like to instigate an inter-zonal Seniors team event in conjunction with the Bermuda Bowl in January 2000. The format will include at least three of the following teams:
- The 1999 European Senior Team Champions (France).
- A senior North American team nominated by ACBL.
- The reigning 1998 Senior World Champions, Lille, France.
The South Pacific Zone has until 20th September to indicate if a team is possible. Expressions of interest from Seniors teams should be sent to Valerie Brockwell, ABF Secretariat, PO Box 397 Fyshwick ACT 2609, or secretariat@abf.com.au
by 16th September.
The entry fee for this event will be paid by the ABF.
Preference will be given to successful teams from the 1999 Summer Festival or ANC Seniors Championships.
