PRESS RELEASE - Bridge Club Live

Australian Bridge Federation goes online with
Bridge Club Live.

Bridge Club Live is delighted to announce a partnership agreement with the Australian Bridge Federation (ABF). In addition to the English Bridge Union (EBU), the ABF becomes the second national bridge organization to recognize the real value to its members of joining Bridge Club Live.

As part of the agreement, ABF members get a special discount off normal subscription rates and pay just AUD $119 for annual membership. To commemorate this partnership, Bridge Club Live is offering Founder Member status to the first 250 ABF members who sign up for the full annual membership. Founder members will also get an extra three months free membership and an additional 10% lifetime discount.

Dennis Yovich, ABF Secretary: "We were impressed by the user-friendly interface coupled with a real friendly spirit in the club and we have heard positive feedback from members and the EBU".

Nick Justice, Bridge Club Live Managing Director: "We are delighted to put pen to paper and look forward to welcoming lots of Australians into our international club. Our goal is to provide fast, fun and friendly online bridge and we are especially keen on providing a pleasant enjoyable experience to our members, whatever their standard".

Po Shing Lee, Bridge Club Live Operations Director: "Starting from 11th July 2004, we will have two special events where ABF members can earn ABF green master points. On Sundays, we will have a Pairs Tournament which will be an 18 to 21 board duplicate starting at 8pm Australian Eastern Standard Time. Then on Wednesdays, we will have a Daily Tourney which will be a 12 board duplicate again starting at 8pm EST. As we continue to grow, we will be arranging more events especially for our ABF members. Personally, I am especially looking forward to organizing some special events to see whether Australians or the English play better bridge!"
